Sourced Craft Cocktails
Introducing Sourced Craft Cocktails: the spirit industry’s one-stop shop for elevated cocktail sampling, corporate events, large-scale events, marketing collateral, and more! Having worked with Sourced since 2021, I have a few projects to showcase.
Brick & Mortar Concepts
Prior to some business strategy re-working, one of Sourced’s most unique offerings was its development and management of real, in-person bar concepts. The goal was to occupy spaces like food halls and food courts with unexpectedly elegant cocktail lounge experiences. I was lucky to have the opportunity to create brand guidelines and collateral for two of these concepts - Airmail (Miami Beach) and 2 Pink Squirrels (Twin Cities).
Photography Direction
Sourced was the first place I was able to cut my teeth in terms of photo shoot direction. I learned how to make a product look beautiful, but perhaps more importantly, I learned how to give products personality. Every cocktail was different and every brand was different. I had to be able to convey those differences visually in an instant.
Print + Packaging
Thanks to Sourced, I was also able to get a firm grasp of the nuances of designing packaging, labels, menus, and several other print pieces. We offered several seasonal or campaign-based cocktail kits that I designed around. Some of these kits were featured on our DTC site and some were specifically produced for clients.
UX/UI Design
With Sourced, I’ve been able to design landing pages, web refreshes, experience design, and more. At first, wire-framing was intimidating to me. A website’s half life is far longer than an email or social post. Eventually, I just tapped into the same consumer mindset that makes me successful in other areas and asked myself “What would I want?”.
